Kisses For Kendra Benefit

I heard about this benefit for this little 5th grader who has AVM and they are holding a benefit for her because she will be having surgery in June.
Kendra’s story began on January 21, 2009, when she suffered a brain hemorrhage and stroke from a condition known as anArteriovenous Malformation (AVM). AVM’s are congenital and the cause is unknown. This rare condition occurs when arteries connect directly to nearby veins without having normal capillaries between them which cause these vessels to be very weak. Kendra had a radiation treatment called Gamma Knife in February 2009 to essentially kill these abnormal vessels. Recent MRI results confirmed thatthis treatment did not work and, as long as she has this AVM in her brain, she is at a great risk for another brain hemorrhage. After consulting with her neurosurgeon, it was decided that she will have brain surgery to remove her AVM in June.

So I thought I would try to spread the word for her and her family, If you live in the area, please plan on attending. If you don't live near by they are accepting donations http://www.facebook.com/events/129444223854900/
Thanks so much!
