Are you ready to adopt an environmentally-friendly lifestyle in the New Year, but not sure how you can implement change with your busy schedule?  The simple solution to your resolution may lie in eco-conscious mobile apps.  Our mobile phones are already transforming the way we complete everyday tasks; now, there are a multitude of apps available to help you lead a more sustainable lifestyle.  Here are five of my favorites:
1.    Rippl

Rippl is a free app that helps you make simple, sustainable choices by delivering weekly green living tips.  You get to customize a routine that fits your lifestyle.  Each tip is designed to conveniently help you transform your habits, save money, and live a greener, healthier life.  Always forgetting your reusable bags?  Rippl will remind you to grab them before you leave the house.  Spend too much on coffee?  Rippl lets you know that bringing your own mug can get you a discount.

2.    GoodGuide

 5.    PaperKarma

PaperKarma lets you take photos of the unwanted mail you want to stop.  Snap a photo, and you’re done.  It automatically contacts the sender and removes you from their distribution list.  PaperKarma can stop most unwanted mail that is addressed directly to you – super convenient!
