Recall Notice On Bottled Water

Bottled water

Anyone who has bottled water at home may want to check and see if it's included in a recent recall of 14 brands.
Niagara issued a voluntary recall of all spring water products produced at its Pennsylvania manufacturing facilities between June 10 and June 18. The company says the spring source for its water was potentially compromised and contaminated with E. coli.
The brands are:
  • Acadia
  • Acme
  • Big Y
  • Best Yet
  • 7-11
  • Niagara
  • Nature's Place
  • Pricerite
  • Superchill
  • Morning Fresh
  • Shaws
  • Shoprite
  • Western Beef Blue
  • Wegman's
To see if your water is included in the recall, Niagara advises customers to check the code on the bottle. The only affected products have codes that begin with the letters A or F.
A production date is listed in the code on the bottle. Niagara says products made between 3 a.m. June 10 and 8 p.m. June 18 should not be used.
The company says there haven't been any reports of illness or injury related to the recalled water.
