California Innovations Cryofreeze Gel Pack
The gel pack shown below is being voluntarily recalled as a precautionary measure because it may contain diethylene glycol and trace amounts of ethylene glycol. Unless the outer layer is damaged, the contents of the gel pack are not accessible and do not pose a hazard. The gel pack only poses a potential hazard if ingested. The vast majority of gel packs were sold with thermal carriers between July 2007 to December 2008 at Babies”R”Us. The thermal carriers are safe and NOT part of the recall.
 
This precautionary voluntary recall has been initiated in the interest of safety. Gel pack measures 6-in x 5.5-in. The gel pack was sold with the following thermal carriers:
Consumers who have the gel packs should stop using them immediately and dispose of them according to federal, state and/or local regulations. It is recommended that you contact your local waste disposal authority for their instructions. If you still have the gel pack being recalled, please contact California Innovations customer service at 1-800-722-2545 to receive a refund for your gel pack.
