Calling All Artists Looking To Make Some Fast Cash

Are you looking for a way to make some fast cash? Are you very artistic? Then here is an opportunity for you from Slip G Tees:

Here's the pitch:

You submit a picture of your most insane drawing, painting, charcoal, illustrator design, heck even an amazing picture you took. If we agree that it'd look great on a tee-shirt, we'll pay you $50 and give you a shirt from the first print run. If you want to buy more, you can get them at wholesale, no minimums for you (hey you're the artist after all!). 

Not enough? 

Ok, we'll also pay you a royalty for every shirt we sell. Currently we are paying $1 per shirt sold. If we sell 20 shirts, you get a crisp spankin' new Jackson. If we sell 100 shirts, you get $100. 

The short version:

• Slipg pays $50 for the right to print and sell you shirt for 2 years
• In addition to the $50 up front, you get $1 for every shirt we sell
• You keep the copyright of your original art
• You can buy as few or many shirts at wholesale as you want

"Yeah, but..." FAQ

Ok, sounds cool, but it's still "my" art right? 

Of course it is! You keep the copyright, you are only selling us a limited license to alter for print, reproduce on shirts and sell them. I know what you're thinking...what if nobody buys any of the shirts? Well then you made $50 and got a one of kind souvenir that you designed. You risk nothing.

How did you come up with that genius royalty structure?

We don't like math and we found 1 the easiest number to multiply by. What if they take off, like we sell a million of em? That'd be a million dollars to you, and I'd retire. But seriously, that's probably not going to happen.

Exactly how and when will you pay me? 

As soon as we agree to use your design, we'll pay you the $50. We prefer paypal becuase it's instant, but we can also mail a written check if you prefer. We pay out royalties every month for the shirts sold the previous calendar month. At the latest we'll pay you by the 10th of the month, but usually it will be much quicker. Paypal is fastest...just sayin'.

Do I have to be 18 do get paid? 

Nope, we license art from anyone 13 and over (verified by your facebook account). 

Enough already, where do I submit my art??? 

Simply attach it in a Facebook message to us here at Slipg. If you'd rather you can send us a link to your portfolio or Pinterest / Tumblr page, that works too.
