Starting on or about September 2nd this year a majority of the states are offering their tax free weekend. Woohoo! You can score some serious deals for back to school clothes, supplies, some household items and more. Please note that each state is different in what they offer and when. Not all states are participating so you need to check the list and follow the instructions for each state. The purchases aren’t limited to items only for school children or college students. Anyone who purchases eligible items for non-business use will receive the sales tax deduction. Some states include Friday in the weekend, while others only include Saturday and Sunday as part of tax-free holidays. Maryland’s tax-free holiday extends to an entire week. I have pasted the list below and here is the link so you may reference it in the future. Happy Shopping!! Come back and let us know what deals you scored.
