Sam's Club Plus members can get free, 30-day supplies of five medications. Plus membership costs $100 a year, which is an upgrade from a regular $45 membership, according to a release.
Free drugs include:
Donepezil: (generic Aricept in two strengths) for Alzheimer’s Disease
Escitalopram: (generic Lexapro in three strengths) for mental health
Pioglitazone: (generic Actos in three strengths) for diabetes
Vitamin D (50,000 IU) for bone density
Finasteride: (generic Proscar) for men's health
Sam's Club Plus membership also offers 200 medications for $4 and 800 medicines for $10. Additional savings of up to 40 percent on generic medications and 8 percent off name-brand drugs.
